NexaChain reduces custodial risk by keeping control of funds and transaction signing with the user.

Self-custodied wallets

Users remain in control of their wallets. NexaChain does not hold customer balances or operate custodial accounts.

Private keys stay local

Private keys are generated and stored on the user’s device rather than on NexaChain servers.

User authorization is required

Every payment must be reviewed and approved by the buyer before the wallet signs and sends the transactions.

Direct blockchain settlement

Payments are sent directly from the buyer wallet to the merchant wallet and NexaChain treasury on BNB Smart Chain.

The buyer verifies the complete payment before proceeding.

Transaction signatures are generated on the user’s device.

Signed transactions are sent to BNB Smart Chain for confirmation.

Private-key protection

Private keys are not transmitted to NexaChain.

The private key is used locally to create a transaction signature. NexaChain does not need access to that key to prepare a payment request or display a transaction confirmation.

This also means NexaChain cannot recover a private key, restore an inaccessible wallet, or authorize payments for the user.

Important user responsibility

Losing access to the device or private key may permanently prevent access to the wallet. Users should protect their wallet credentials and device carefully.

Payment authorization

Nothing is signed before the buyer confirms.

Before authorization, the buyer can review the merchant, item price, separate NexaChain fee, final total, token, and blockchain network.

Buyer responsibilities

Review and protect before paying.

Keep the device, wallet, and private key secure.
Verify the merchant, item, amount, fee, token, and network before confirming.
Maintain sufficient BNB to cover blockchain network fees.
Never share a private key, recovery phrase, password, or device access code.
Use only official NexaChain app listings and trusted payment links.

Merchant responsibilities

Create accurate and lawful requests.

Verify item details and pricing before creating a payment request.
Protect access to the merchant device and self-custodied wallet.
Confirm on-chain settlement before treating a payment as final.
Keep wallet addresses and business information accurate.
Use NexaChain only for lawful goods, services, and payment activity.

Important security notice

Blockchain payments can be irreversible.

Users should verify all payment information before authorization. NexaChain cannot reverse confirmed blockchain transactions, recover funds sent to an incorrect address, restore lost private keys, or guarantee recovery of an inaccessible self-custodied wallet.
